The 5th edition of the Usawa Festival took place from December 9th to 11th, 2022, transforming Mukuru Lunga Lunga into a vibrant hub of art, culture, and unity. Organized by Wajukuu Arts, the three-day event was a remarkable celebration of “Usawa”—the essence of equality—bringing together artists, performers, and community members for a powerful display of creativity and resilience.Through a lineup of live performances, workshops, and interactive art installations, Usawa Festival offered a platform for local talents to express themselves and tell their stories.
